Bandsaw Box

A bandsaw box I made on the weekend. Made out of a block of SilkyOak.

Finished with 320grit sanding and Tung Oil. The wood underneath is Australian Black Wattle- making a bookshelf next.

Dog House

Here's a few pictures of a couple of dog houses I made for people over the past few weeks. Pretty happy with the design, making little adjustments as I go. The hardest part was thinking of an easy way to get in and clean the house. This liftoff design saved the hassle of attaching hinges.

Circular Saw Guide

Circular saw guide I made for cutting plywood. I used contact cement to attach my straight edge to a sheet of acrylic (from an old sign thrown out). Once adhered I cut off the excess with the saw flush against the straight edge. Now I can see exactly where the cut line will be without having to measure the offsets.

Office Chair Restoration

When your office chair breaks...
Well I kept the wheels near the dumpster, and after working on a few machines while sitting on the concrete in the garage, I decided to make a simple upgrade. I didn't want to waste much time, and I didn't want to spend any money. Glued some scrap plywood together and screwed it onto where the seat base was. I had to shorten the adjustment lever so it was out of my way and still usable.

Tool Holders

Made some tool holders for my work-bench. Much easier to find what I need now, and more space on my bench. I used french cleats on the holders, so I can move them around as I like.
